At a competition…

My pen name is Patina Malinalli.

I live in the USA and am very thankful for the military and law enforcement personnel who risk their lives everyday to protect the rest of us. I have a Spanish degree and also speak Italian and Portuguese at a beginner level. I am also working to pick up some American Sign Language and I can recognize a few words in Chinese. I have always loved horses and have a background in starting young horses under saddle.  The main goal of my LLC is to provide encouragement for unmarried women who are serving in the US military and incur a traumatic brain injury (TBI).  After sustaining a TBI, life changes – a lot.  We plan to work towards this by producing Christ-centered reading material – PDFs and eventually, physical books (Lord willing). There are many new and unanticipated difficulties to overcome.  It is possible with a hope in Christ though!

Due to the challenges military and law enforcement jobs require, service members often face traumatic brain injury; often alongside other health-related issues. Facing these trials as a single woman is difficult.  I wanted to start this business to provide them with encouragement, and encourage support of my favorite nonprofits.

I also really enjoy contributing to some nonprofits: American Center of Law and Justice, Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty, Faith Bible Seminary, Matrix Lifecare Center, The Heritage Foundation, and Vision of Hope Treatment Center. I also contribute newly handmade items to a nearby Veteran’s Home.  If you would like to join me, please feel free to reach out to any of the nonprofits listed above – these links will take you directly to a donation page.  Thank you!
