Brilliant novel! I love how it is placed in the home state of the author (though a century earlier). The plot is very well developed and I thoroughly enjoyed how she describes Christianity and includes relevant scripture. I look forward to following this series. Very quick read, easy to follow, with excellent historical detail.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in American historical fiction (particularly Montana), especially if you enjoy Christ-centered books.
