I enjoyed My Brother’s Keeper by Beth Wiseman, but I am picky. I love books by Beverly Lewis. However, I’ve read a biography written by a woman who actually grew up in the Amish culture, and this book does waver on the edges of reality – just a bit. It’s still an interesting read, but does have some sad elements.
Her Brother’s Keeper by Beth Wiseman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Very interesting with some intriguing plots and twists! I really enjoyed it. However, having read a book written by someone who actually spent time living with the Amish, the truth about the Plain life is stretched a bit. The plot was high quality though.
