A couple of days ago, I finished reading Indiana in the Civil War: Doctors, Hospitals, and Medical Care by Nancy Pippen Eckerman. It was 5 out of 5 stars. I’ve pasted my review below. It mostly included photos, which I enjoyed.
Indiana in the Civil War: Doctors, Hospitals, and Medical Care by Nancy Pippen Eckerman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I loved the information provided in this book. It’s actually about the lives of the medical personnel during the Civil War, it doesn’t just talk about how they served.

I’m going to spend some more time with BookBub and then I will hopefully have a few short stories available soon – mostly mysteries along with some poetry eventually.
One of my favorite Bible verses is Psalm 62:6 (NASB in this case). The psalmist writes, “He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my refuge, I will not be shaken.” I love the flow of this verse. The La Biblia de las Americas (LBLA) version in Spanish is similar: “Solo Él es mi roca y mi salvación, mi refugio, nunca seré sacudido.” The “r” and “s” sounds are repeated, and there is alliteration at the end of the verse in Spanish. All of this makes it easier to remember, because there is a sound of sweet strength throughout the verse… The Lord always delivers us when we face trial.
Have a wonderful week!
