Trot for TBI

Psalm 83:1-2 beings with a command, calling out to God. This can also serve as a reminder that we are never truly alone if we believe in Christ as Lord and Savior.

“God, do not keep silent.
Do not be deaf, God; do not be idle.
See how Your enemies make an uproar;
those who hate You have acted arrogantly.”

This leads into a description of Israel’s enemies (both literally and figuratively). The psalmist ends with the psalmist declaring that God is “the Most High over all the earth” in verse 18c to sum up the psalm.

Jesus is always available when we call out to Him. When we are amidst desolation, it can feel like He isn’t hearing us or paying attention – but this isn’t true. We can be assured that the Lord is always working. He never takes a break. In Genesis 2:1-3, the Lord rests on the seventh day, but the verse never says He’s tired or worn out. Matthew 28:20(b) reassures us of Christ’s constant presence: “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
